6. Gently pry up the palmrest and carefully disconnect the cables connecting the keyboard and touchpad to the motherboard
7. Remove the old palmrest with keyboard
8. Place the new palmrest in position and connect all cables to the motherboard
9. Screw the palmrest screws back in
10. Connect the battery, reattach the bottom cover, and tighten the screws
